Handled through planning and safety, not a separate plan
TEAM addresses homelessness inside its planning and safety pages: protecting older rental stock from demolition, and working with the province on care beds and complex needs.
HOMELESSNESS AND THE DRUG CRISIS
TEAM for a Livable Vancouver on homelessness and drugs
TEAM does not publish a standalone homelessness plan. Its argument connects homelessness to demolition of older affordable rental buildings, which its planning page says displaces residents and forces some into homelessness.
On the street-level response, its safety page commits to working with the province on voluntary and involuntary care beds and transition services.
