Prevention, detox, treatment and long-term recovery
TrueBlue focuses on prevention, detox, treatment and long-term recovery rather than what it describes as normalizing drug use.
HOMELESSNESS AND THE DRUG CRISIS
TrueBlue Vancouver on homelessness and drugs
This is the recovery-first end of the ballot. TrueBlue’s framing is the opposite of COPE’s safe supply and harm reduction position.
Detox and treatment services are provincial, so a city taking this direction would be pressing the province rather than delivering it.
