Each issue below is a real responsibility of Vancouver City Council, the Board of Parks and Recreation, or the Board of Education. Every party on this site is covered on the same ten, so a party cannot look complete by choosing which subjects to appear on.
Housing
TEAM would repeal the Official Development Plan including the Broadway, Jericho, Rupert and Renfrew and Villages plans, restore neighbourhood-based participatory planning, and challenge provincial housing legislation.
Homelessness and drugs
TEAM addresses homelessness inside its planning and safety pages: protecting older rental stock from demolition, and working with the province on care beds and complex needs.
Public safety
TEAM’s public safety plan is called Restoring Order to Our City.
Transport
TEAM would invest in road maintenance, expand bus service and stops, restore off-street parking minimums for new construction, and oppose road pricing.
Parks
TEAM would withdraw the request to abolish the elected Park Board, restore its control over its own budget and operations, halt current Stanley Park logging pending independent review, and target 1.1 hectares of park per 1,000 people.
Schools
TEAM would end school enrolment lotteries through long-range planning with the city, stop disposing of school land, pause the Microsoft Copilot rollout in secondary schools, and bring back elementary band and strings.
Taxes and budget
TEAM would limit tax increases to what is needed for municipal services, review the operating and capital budgets service by service, and set up a lobbyist registry.
Climate
TEAM would use incentives rather than mandatory rules for building retrofits, enact a moratorium on AI data centre approvals, and rejects road pricing and city-wide parking permits.
Culture
TEAM would protect and expand affordable rehearsal and performance space, require one-for-one replacement of city-owned creative space, and publish an inventory of arts spaces on the city website.
Child care
TEAM would incorporate child care into school sites, aiming toward preschool for all 3 and 4 year olds, and include child care in new housing developments.
