5 PUBLISHED COMMITMENTS
What they say they will do
A 100-year plan for Vancouver's coastal parks
The party would develop a 100-year plan for the city's 28 kilometres of coastal parks to address sea-level rise and biodiversity loss, rather than repeatedly rebuilding the seawall after storms.
Protect pollinator corridors and bird migration pathways
The party would strengthen the urban tree canopy, community gardens and rainwater capture zones to protect pollinator corridors and migratory bird pathways.
Disclose the carbon cost of Park Board budgets
The party would require every Park Board operating and capital budget to disclose the carbon dioxide cost of city operations and construction, with new staff tools to make the analysis and reporting simpler.
Expand community food gardens and Indigenous healing gardens
The party would expand community food gardens and forests and Indigenous healing gardens on Park Board land.
Keep parks and community centres affordable and accessible
Parks, facilities and services would stay available, accessible, affordable and welcoming, with programs prioritized for children, families and seniors.
What is not published
- The priorities page states party positions with no candidate named as their author, and no dollar figure or date for any of them.
