Disclose the carbon cost of city budgets
What Green Party of Vancouver has published about city taxes and the capital plan, and what it has not.
CITY TAXES AND THE CAPITAL PLAN
Green Party of Vancouver on taxes and budget
The party's one specific city-wide budget position is a disclosure rule, not a tax or spending figure.
1 PUBLISHED COMMITMENT
What they say they will do
Disclose the carbon cost of every city budget
The party would require every city operating and capital budget to disclose the carbon dioxide cost of city operations and construction projects, with new staff tools to make the reporting simpler.
What is not published
- The priorities page states party positions with no candidate named as their author, and no dollar figure or date for any of them.
