ABC Vancouver holds the mayor’s chair and is running 24 candidates in 2026, the largest slate on the ballot. Its published platform leads with a property tax freeze, a ban on open-air hard drug use, and $400 million for community centres.

About ABC Vancouver
ABC Vancouver goes into the October 17, 2026 election as the governing party. Ken Sim has been mayor since 2022 and is running again at ballot number 54.
ABC is running 24 candidates, more than any other party: the mayor, 9 for City Council, 7 for Park Board and 7 for School Board. It is one of only two parties running a full or near-full slate in all four races.
Its published platform is organised into five headings: public safety and street disorder, affordability and accountability at City Hall, jobs and economy, restoring Vancouver, and raising Vancouver. Several of its commitments carry a number attached, which is unusual on this ballot and makes them easier to check later.
