Transit signal priority means traffic lights hold green or turn green early for an approaching bus. The city owns and controls its traffic signals, so this is squarely within council’s power even though TransLink runs the buses.
OneCity publishes a target of about a 20% reduction in travel times. It is one of the few measurable transport targets on this ballot.
