BC NDP on health care
The BC NDP’s main health care promise in this campaign is to hire more health workers from the United States. David Eby announced it at the Peace Arch border crossing in Surrey on September 23, 2026.
The party says more than 800 doctors, nurses and other health workers from the United States have already accepted jobs in British Columbia. It also says a million more people have been connected to a family doctor since 2018. These are the party’s own figures.
