HEALTH CARE AND HOSPITALS
Conservative Party of BC on health care
The party’s platform page lists five health titles: “Putting Patients First” (“Expanding Access to Care and Ending Long Wait Times”), “BC Recovers” (a plan on overdoses and addiction), “Real Support For Mental Wellness”, “Next Gen Reproductive Health” and “Standing Up for Seniors”. None of them opened to published text on September 30, 2026.
NDP Leader David Eby says the Conservative tax pledge would mean cuts to health care and education, pointing to remarks Tony Luck made in February 2024, The Canadian Press reported. Black Press Media reported Luck’s reply on September 28: “I do not intend to cut the health-care budget.”
