A Mainstreet Research poll released 9 October puts Chow at 40.8 per cent and Bradford at 38.3 per cent, with the gap within the margin of error.

A Nanos Research poll conducted September 30 to October 4, 2026, found that 26% of Toronto voters name traffic as the single biggest quality-of-life problem in the city. Housing costs came second at 18%, followed by public safety at 16%.

A Forum Research telephone survey of 1,604 Toronto residents conducted on October 6 shows Olivia Chow at 46 percent and Brad Bradford at 42 percent among decided and leaning voters.
