Every ward.
Every candidate.

Under section 169.1 of the Education Act, every school board promotes student achievement and well-being, ensures effective stewardship of its resources, delivers education programs, develops a multi-year plan and monitors and evaluates its director of education. A trustee takes part in those decisions as a member of the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Section 218.1 adds that a trustee entrusts the day-to-day management of the board to its staff through the director of education. 12 of 12 wards have a candidate on City of Toronto’s list so far.
