Questions about voche.me.
Are the candidate profiles real?
Yes. Every profile is a person on the City Clerk’s list of certified candidates. The City’s list is the source for each name, office and ward, and a profile is marked when a candidate has withdrawn.
How do I find my ward?
Use the MyVote tool on the City of Toronto website. The City says it shows where and when to vote, who the candidates are in your ward, a map of your ward and a sample ballot. Then open that ward on this site to see who is running.
Who can vote?
The City of Toronto says you can vote if you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, and a resident of Toronto, or a non-resident whose spouse or who themself owns or rents property in Toronto, and no law bars you from voting. You vote in the ward where you live and need identification with your name and Toronto address.
Which school board do I vote for?
The school board that receives your property taxes. The City lists four kinds of school board supporter: English public, Catholic separate, French public and French Catholic separate. Your sample ballot in MyVote shows the trustee race you can vote in.

No. voche.me is an independent guide, separate from the City of Toronto, the school boards, political parties and candidates. We link to the City wherever a page depends on official information, such as voting places, hours and identification.
When can I vote?
General voting day is Monday, October 26, 2026. Advance voting runs from Tuesday, October 6, 2026 to Sunday, October 11, 2026. Confirm hours and places with the City of Toronto before you go.
What does an empty section on a profile mean?
It records that voche.me has not yet added sourced material there. The candidate may well have a position, and the page will show it once a public source confirms it.
Who writes the research on the candidate pages?
For this election, an automated process reads public sources and writes the research, following published standards for sourcing and for how claims about real people are stated. A person does not review each page before it is published. Every page lists its sources, and the report form reaches the editors.
