Rob Nijjar appears on the City of Vancouver's final 2026 candidate list for School Board, with ballot number 316. The City records the affiliation as ABC Vancouver.
The page says Nijjar was an MLA for Vancouver-Kingsway, an executive assistant to a Vancouver MP, and an assistant to the Leader of the Official Opposition of BC. The page says Nijjar is Executive Director of the Sunset on Fraser Business Association and runs a business development firm. The page says the candidate holds a Bachelor in General Studies and an MBA.
Nijjar sat in the British Columbia legislature as the member for Vancouver-Kingsway from May 2001 to May 2005 for the British Columbia Liberal Party, winning the seat in 2001 with 8,264 votes against 5,429 for the New Democratic Party candidate.
