Conservative Party of BC on economy
The BC Energy Superpower Plan, published September 28, 2026, is the only detailed plan the party had released by September 30. Its goal is to more than double natural gas production by 2032 and more than triple it by 2035.
The plan says the NDP slowed LNG projects. The NDP disputes the targets: Forests minister and NDP candidate Ravi Parmar called it a “ChatGPT plan” and said the NDP’s current path would more than triple LNG production by 2035, as Black Press Media reported.
The platform page also lists titles on food production (“Grown in BC”), mining, forestry and technology. None opened to published text on September 30, 2026.

The plan would set up resource development corridors for pipelines and power lines, and support the second phase of Coastal GasLink, Prince Rupert Gas Transmission and Enbridge’s Sunrise expansion.
Trade missions led by the premier
The plan promises trade missions led by the premier to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines and South and Southeast Asia, energy agreements with buyers, energy security agreements with those countries, and sales to European buyers starting with Germany.
Bring LNG company head offices to BC
The plan says the party would contact companies that left BC’s LNG sector, naming ExxonMobil, Chevron, Petronas and Woodside, and encourage LNG and gas companies to base their head offices in the province.
