WHO THEY ARE

About One Delta

Elections BC's Register of Elector Organizations by Jurisdiction, dated October 30, 2026, lists One Delta for the jurisdictions Delta and Delta School District, with no other name and the ballot name One Delta. It names Colin Weeres as the authorized principal official.

The City of Delta's candidates page prints One Delta as the organization of 14 candidates: Dylan Kruger for mayor; Rod Binder, Sylvia Bishop, Daniel Boisvert, Sarah Gallop, Jennifer Johal and Pawan Joshi for Council; and Jesse Bierman, Tamara Bissett-Laza, Ammen Dhillon, Masako Gooch, Amar Hundal, Gurinder Kahlon and Val Windsor for school trustee. The Chief Election Officer's declaration of October 21, 2026 names seven of them among the people elected: Bishop and Boisvert on Council, and Windsor, Bissett-Laza, Dhillon, Gooch and Bierman on the Board of Education. Kruger had 9,460 votes for mayor, second of three.

The North Delta Reporter reported on April 7, 2026 that councillors Boisvert, Binder, Johal and Kruger, all elected in 2022 with Achieving for Delta, had registered the name One Delta after being told in December 2025 that Achieving for Delta would not endorse them. The four had first announced their slate on February 12, 2026 under the name Delta First, before learning that another group had applied to register that name days earlier. The Reporter named former councillor Bruce McDonald as the organization's president.

The Delta Optimist reported on December 3, 2025 that a letter on Achieving for Delta letterhead, dated December 2, told the four councillors the organization would not endorse them in 2026. The four answered in a statement that the mayor's decision was aimed at silencing voices that had raised concerns about his spending and decisions. That was their own statement.

The council platform on the organization's site has three parts: getting back to basics, delivering infrastructure, and accountability and transparency. Its school board platform has five parts. Both were released on September 28, 2026, by the Reporter's account. The site says its 14 candidates come from Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen.
