BC Green Party on public safety
The BC Green Party’s Our Plan page has no section on policing, courts or prisons.
In its statement for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the party says it would create a task force to investigate and prosecute cases of missing and murdered Indigenous women, children and Two-Spirit people.
In an August 2026 release, MLA Rob Botterell argued that public safety and harm reduction can be pursued together, with a regulated supply, voluntary services and supportive housing.
The party’s Our Plan page, read on 2026-09-30, says its full platform is still to come.
