Check the evidence
Sources checked October 3, 2026. Official records establish decisions; campaign material establishes stated positions; reporting adds investigation and context. None alone establishes every claim.
No campaign website was found. The OneBC candidates page links to no social media account of his, and no personal account was found. The OneBC account on X (x.com/One_BCHQ) could not be opened: the server answered 402. Every item in his background (25 years driving a HandyDART van, helping found the Kitsilano Showers Program, helping lead the 2011 Fight HST campaign, 20 years running a small business) comes from OneBC's page on him. No employer, program record, campaign record, news report or business record was found to confirm any of them, and the page names no employer, business or dates. Wikipedia's page for Vancouver-Kensington lists a Salvatore Vetro among the 2020 candidates there, and Wikipedia search results show the same name in pages for earlier provincial elections. No page voche.me opened says whether this is the same person as the OneBC candidate, so none of it is used here. News searches for the name returned items voche.me could not tie to him, and none is used. His positions on the OneBC platform, all-candidates meetings in the district, campaign finances, endorsements and the reason he joined OneBC were not found. The name search was limited because the search tool was out of use on 2026-10-03: Bing, Google News, a Wikipedia search and direct page reads were used, while DuckDuckGo showed a verification page and Google blocked the request.
