The party's biography, as the Prince George Citizen reported it, says she is Indigenous, was born and raised in Prince George, and brought the Tampon Tuesday campaign to Prince George in 2018 to collect menstrual products for women in need. These are the party's own statements, and voche.me has not confirmed them with Northern Health or the campaign organizers.

voche.me found no campaign website, social media account, interview or public statement of her own on 2026-10-01, apart from the party release quoted in the news. The address carolbourque.bcndp.ca, the pattern the party uses for its candidates' pages, did not load: it sends the reader back to the same address in a loop. The BC NDP's online candidate list held 52 names on 2026-10-01 and none for Prince George-Valemount. The party release of September 26, 2026 was not on the party's releases page, so it was read only as the Prince George Citizen and My Prince George Now quoted it. The Prince George Citizen site refuses direct reads, so both of its reports were read through Internet Archive copies. Her Northern Health work, her years of service, her union membership and her role in the 2018 Tampon Tuesday campaign come from the party and from news reports; voche.me has not confirmed them with Northern Health, the Health Sciences Association or the campaign organizers. A journalist's post on X that lists her among nine BC NDP candidates sits behind a login and was not used. A Downtown Prince George page on 2026 candidates returned no readable text. The portrait is a party photo published by the Prince George Citizen; voche.me found no copy published on a party page. All-candidates meetings in the district, campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. Nominations close October 3, 2026, so other candidates may still be added. The questionnaire has not been sent.

What voche.me has checked

Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-01: the Elections BC candidate list and key dates page, the 2024 statement of votes, the BC NDP candidate list, releases page, platform page and Prince George-Valemount page, two Prince George Citizen reports and one My Prince George Now report, and web searches for her name with the district, Prince George, 2026, NDP, Northern Health and social media.

Her only published words found are two sentences in the party release of September 26, 2026, quoted by the Prince George Citizen. The other commitments below are the BC NDP's own platform text, and voche.me found her name nowhere in it. Sections with no entry record that voche.me found nothing on this date.
