GTA home sales fell 7.9 per cent in October. Toronto also opened the 2026 Vacant Home Tax declaration period.
The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board reports 5,603 GTA home sales in October 2026, down from a year ago, with the average selling price at $1,024,108. At the same time, the City of Toronto opened the Vacant Home Tax declaration period for 2026, with an April 30, 2027 deadline for all residential property owners.
