Amber Morley appears on the City of Toronto’s list of certified candidates for Councillor in Ward 3 Etobicoke-Lakeshore. A certified candidate is one whose nomination the City Clerk has accepted. The list shows the nomination date as July 13, 2026 and the campaign website voteambermorley.ca.
The City’s Members of Council page lists Councillor Amber Morley for Etobicoke-Lakeshore, and her City profile lists her as Deputy Mayor for Etobicoke. The profile text says she was elected to represent Ward 3 on October 24, 2022, and is marked as information provided by the Councillor. It lists her committees and boards as the Executive Committee, the Infrastructure and Environment Committee, the Budget Committee, the FIFA World Cup 2026 Subcommittee, the Etobicoke York Community Council, the Toronto Police Services Board, the Long-Term Care Committee of Management and the Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee, and says she sits on the Toronto Public Library board as the Mayor’s designate. The profile gives its date modified as July 31, 2026.
The profile also describes her earlier work in her own words. It says she was Director of the South Etobicoke Youth Assembly at LAMP Community Health Centre, an administrative assistant to Councillor Peter Milczyn, and a constituency assistant for Ward 4 Etobicoke-Centre in 2016, and that during the COVID-19 pandemic she coordinated the South and Central Etobicoke Vaccine Engagement Team.
The City Clerk’s declaration of results for the October 24, 2022 general election lists Amber Morley first among 6 candidates for Councillor in Ward 3 Etobicoke-Lakeshore, with 15,271 votes, marked elected. Mark Grimes was second with 13,258. The 6 declared totals add up to 32,883 votes, so her share was 46.4 percent and his was 40.3 percent, both calculated by voche.me from those figures.
Her campaign website, in a letter headed Dear neighbours, says she is running for re-election and that over the past four years she and residents have improved community safety, built new affordable housing and advanced safer streets. These are the campaign’s own statements, and voche.me has not checked them against another source. Global News, in an article posted August 25, 2026, lists Etobicoke-Lakeshore among the council races to watch and says there has been local backlash to a new seniors’ shelter in the ward. voche.me did not find a response from her in that article.
