Larson chair and Hamaguchi vice-chair of the Board of Education
Richmond News reported that Heather Larson was acclaimed chair of the Board of Education for 2023-2024 at the meeting of November 22, 2023, after Debbie Tablotney declined the nomination, and that Ken Hamaguchi was elected vice-chair over Donna Sargent.
Hamaguchi the board chair before the 2026 vote
Richmond News described Hamaguchi after the vote as the board's most recent chair, a role he said he had held for the last couple of years, and Larson's page on the organization's site says she was vice-chair in 2025-26. Hamaguchi said who will chair the new board is an open question now that his organization holds fewer seats.
