Check the evidence
Sources checked October 3, 2026. Official records establish decisions; campaign material establishes stated positions; reporting adds investigation and context. None alone establishes every claim.
No campaign website, party candidate page, social media account tied to this candidacy, news report, interview or public statement from this candidate was found on 2026-10-03, so her background, her positions on every scored issue and her reasons for running are unknown. The BC Green Party's 2026 candidates page listed 33 candidates and none was for Vancouver-Little Mountain. Its Vancouver riding association page does not name her. The general web search tool was at its usage limit, so the name search was limited to Google News, Bing, the BC Green Party site, ArmchairMayor.ca, Bluesky's public account search and a few pages read directly. Bing did not match the exact name and returned unrelated pages. DuckDuckGo showed a challenge page. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X were not opened, so nothing from them is used. Searches for the name returned items about other people called Sarah MacLeod. No page voche.me read ties any of them, or any other public record that shares her name, to this candidate, so none is used. A 2020 Tyee headline about party campaign staff came up in a search for the name with BC Greens. The page could not be opened, so nothing from it is used. No portrait was found that the candidate or the party published. All-candidates meetings, campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. Elections BC says its list shows only the nominations it has accepted. The questionnaire has not been sent.
Research status
What voche.me has checked
Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-03: the Elections BC candidate list (copy stamped October 3, 2026 09:00:06 PM), the Elections BC key dates page, the 2024 statement of votes, the BC Green Party's 2026 candidates page, its Vancouver riding association page and its Our Plan page. The BC Green Party's own site was searched for the name, and its address for a candidate page in her name answered not found.
The name search was limited: the general web search tool had reached its usage limit, so the name was searched through Google News, Bing, the BC Green Party site, ArmchairMayor.ca and Bluesky's public account search, and the pages of Wikipedia (Vancouver-Little Mountain), CTV News Vancouver and BC Greens news were read. DuckDuckGo showed a challenge page instead of results, and Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X were not opened. No campaign website, party candidate page, readable social media post, news report, interview or statement from this candidate was found. The party entries below are the BC Green Party's own text, and none of it names Sarah MacLeod. An empty section records what voche.me did not find on this date.
