No campaign website was found. The BC Green Party site carries her candidate page, which has no events listed and links one Facebook page, facebook.com/MaureenCurran4NewWestCoquitlam. That page needs a sign-in for its posts and was not read, so nothing from it is used. The WebSearch tool was at its limit for the session, so the name search used Google News headline listings and direct reads of local news sites. Three headlines turned up that voche.me could not open: a Vancouver Is Awesome candidate profile of October 10, 2024, a Vancouver Is Awesome candidate Q&A of September 15, 2021, and a Burnaby Beacon profile of January 24, 2023. The news site addresses could not be resolved or returned errors, so none of them is used and her own statements from those interviews are missing. Elections Canada's results for the 44th general election list a Maureen Curran of the Green Party in Burnaby South, with 1,175 votes, 2.9 percent, and the occupation Teacher With SD43. BC Ballot also lists a 2021 federal run under her name. No source voche.me opened says in one line that this is the same person as the 2026 candidate, so the 2021 run is not in her experience. Her candidate page does say she teaches in Coquitlam. A Freshet News article of September 8, 2026 quotes a Maureen Curran as an organizer of the Glenbrook Ravine Eco-Fest in New Westminster and lists New West Environmental Partners and the New Westminster Climate Action Hub among the groups taking part. It does not say she is the candidate, so it is not used. Her teaching career, degrees, community work and coalition role come from her candidate page only and were not checked with a school district, a university or the coalition. The Climate Safe Cities Coalition website could not be reached. The Coquitlam school board trustee page and the New Westminster councillor and mayor pages do not list her. voche.me did not search Burnaby or Coquitlam council pages. The portrait is the photo on her BC Green Party candidate page, whose file name shows an upload in August 2024. Campaign finances, endorsements and all-candidates meetings were not found on this date. The questionnaire has not been sent.

What voche.me has checked

Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-03: the Elections BC candidate list (stamped October 3, 2026 at 1:00:06 PM) and key dates page; Elections BC's 2024 statement of votes; the BC Green Party's candidates page, her candidate page and its plan page; BC Ballot; Elections Canada's 2021 results for Burnaby South; the Coquitlam school board trustee page; the City of New Westminster's mayor and councillor pages; and a Freshet News article of September 8, 2026.

Her candidate page and her Facebook page are the campaign's own channels. The Facebook page needs a sign-in and was not read.
