Nominations can be submitted until 1 p.m. on October 3, 2026, so more candidates may be added.
The party's candidate page is headed Matthew Liang and its text calls him Matt Liang, the Conservative Party of BC candidate for Coquitlam-Maillardville. The party's team page lists Matthew Liang as the candidate for the same district. The page's own data gives August 18, 2025 as the date it was first published.
The party page says he is a longtime public servant.
