Elections BC lists Daniel Kite as the BC Green Party candidate in Maple Ridge East. The list shows nominations that Elections BC has accepted. The other two candidates on the list for the district are Hudson Campbell of the BC NDP and Lawrence Mok of the Conservative Party.

He was not a candidate in the 2024 provincial election: his name does not appear in Elections BC's 2024 statement of votes. In 2024 Lawrence Mok won Maple Ridge East for the Conservative Party with 12,058 votes (47.02 percent). Bob D'Eith of the BC NDP had 11,961 votes (46.64 percent), and the BC Green Party candidate, Kylee Williams, had 1,626 votes (6.34 percent).
