Check the evidence
Sources checked October 3, 2026. Official records establish decisions; campaign material establishes stated positions; reporting adds investigation and context. None alone establishes every claim.
No campaign website of her own, news report about her candidacy, all-candidates meeting or endorsement was found on 2026-10-03. The name search was limited: the WebSearch tool had reached its usage limit, Bing returned unrelated pages for most queries, and Google News returned two 2025 items that name an Arwa Shurab. One of them (rabble.ca) could not be opened (HTTP 403). The other was opened and does not tie its Arwa Shurab to this candidate, so neither is used. A Facebook event listing and an IDRF speaker page for an Arwa Shurab also appeared in search results. The IDRF page holds no biography and the Facebook page could not be opened, so neither is used. Her Instagram account and LinkedIn profile could not be opened because both ask visitors to log in. Her Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant licence and her degree from Royal Roads University were not checked with the bodies that issue them. The North Shore Restorative Justice Society's board page returned HTTP 404, so its board list was not seen. No West Vancouver council, school board or other minutes search applies, because no public role is on record for her. The BC Green Party's own plan page says its full platform is coming soon. The questionnaire has not been sent.
Research status
What voche.me has checked
Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-03: the Elections BC candidate list, key dates page and 2024 statement of votes; her BC Green Party candidate page, the party's candidates page, plan page and site search; the North Shore Restorative Justice Society page for her; the HERVOICE website and its founder page; her LinkedIn article of January 16, 2025; the BC Ballot pages for her and for the district; and name searches. The name search was limited: the WebSearch tool had reached its usage limit, so voche.me used Bing, Google News and the party's site search directly. Her Instagram account and LinkedIn profile could not be opened because both ask visitors to log in, so nothing from them is used.
No campaign website of her own, news report or policy statement in her own words was found, so the sections for priorities, talks and coverage are empty. The commitments listed below are the BC Green Party's platform, which does not name her. An empty section records what voche.me did not find on this date. The candidate may have published material that these searches did not reach.
