Jordan Back was re-elected to District of North Vancouver Council on October 17, 2026. The District's official count gives him 9,643 votes, third of the 15 candidates for six seats. The Chief Election Officer declared the result on October 19, 2026.
He was first elected to Council in 2018, The North Shore Local reported when he launched his campaign for a third term in May 2026. It reported that he has represented the District on the North Vancouver Chamber, the District library board, the Museum and Archives Commission and Metro Vancouver's Industrial Lands Strategy Task Force. By his own account he has worked in advertising sales for more than 20 years and is a National Account Executive with PATTISON Outdoor Advertising, and he holds a Bachelor of Music from UBC.
His campaign site lists motions he brought forward in his first two terms, among them a Youth and Younger Adults Advisory Committee, an e-bike purchase incentive program, a food truck pilot, a paid school crossing guard program, voting transparency with Councillor Pope and exploring water metering. That list is his own account.
For the new term his campaign site lists a financially responsible plan to rebuild the Karen Magnussen and Ron Andrews recreation centres, replacing the Capilano Library branch, a united North Shore case for replacing the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge, and a public inquiry into the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant. In his North Shore News answers he also wrote that he supports exploring a peak-hour charge for non-resident bridge traffic, with the money going to North Shore transportation.
