Jesse Bierman was elected to the Delta Board of Education on October 17, 2026. The City of Delta's official count gives him 10,468 votes, seventh of the 18 candidates for seven seats and the last of those elected, and the Chief Election Officer declared him elected on October 21, 2026. The North Delta Reporter reported that this was 6.40 per cent of the ballots cast for trustee and called him and Tamara Bissett-Laza the newcomers elected with One Delta, alongside three sitting trustees on the slate.
The Reporter reported on May 27, 2026 that One Delta announced its full school board slate at its campaign launch that day, describing him as a municipal planner and physical literacy expert, and Daily Hive reported the same slate on May 30, 2026. The Delta School District's trustee page still showed the Board elected in 2022 on October 30, 2026.
By his own account, in the Reporter's questionnaire, on the One Delta team page and on his VoteMate page, he is a municipal planner, recreation leader and youth coach who has led long-term parks and recreation planning, worked on the Tsawwassen First Nation Youth Centre and the Ko Gocho Sportsplex, works with the City of Vancouver's Healthy City Strategy, and coaches as a volunteer with the South Delta Rams. voche.me has not checked these with the City of Vancouver, Tsawwassen First Nation or the club.
In the Reporter's questionnaire he named three priorities: expanding opportunities for physical activity, supporting student wellbeing and connection, and building stronger partnerships between schools and the community. He wrote that he wants to strengthen the connections between schools, Delta Parks and Recreation and community organizations so students have more chances to be active and connected, through recreation, extracurricular activities and welcoming spaces. The One Delta school platform carries the slate's promises, listed on this page as the organization's.
