SCHOOLS AND THE SCHOOL DISTRICT
NEW Burnaby on schools
NEW Burnaby has published nothing on schools
We looked on and found no published position. That is a finding about what is on the public record on that date. It does not tell you what the party would do in office.
Where we looked:
- NEW Burnaby's platform page, all eight areas
- NEW Burnaby's About and home pages
- NEW Burnaby's candidates page and the page for Haini Xiao, its candidate for School Trustee
What is missing:
- NEW Burnaby ran one candidate for School Trustee, Haini Xiao, who was not elected. Its platform and About page hold no commitment for the Board of Education.
- Haini Xiao's page on the site describes her background and says she is committed to supporting students, families and educators. That is her own statement as a candidate, and it names no specific step.
