About Anthony Wong
The City of Ottawa’s list of certified candidates shows Anthony Wong’s nomination for trustee of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board in Zone 8 dated August 21, 2026. The City’s open data file shows no withdrawal. The other candidate in the zone is Rick Bédard. The City list gives him a Facebook page and no website, and CTV News Ottawa lists him.
The public description of his Facebook page, titled “Anthony Wong - OCDSB Trustee Candidate for Zone 8”, reads “Ottawa parent and education advocate running to keep our school board focused on what matters most:” and then stops, because Facebook shortens the text for visitors who are not logged in. His posts need a login and were not read. This description is the campaign’s own statement.
The board’s page says that since June 27, 2025 the board has been under supervision by the Minister of Education, and that decisions normally made by trustees are made by the appointed Supervisor, Robert Plamondon. He holds no public office on the record voche.me read. The sources read hold no complaint or allegation about him.

What voche.me has checked
Evidence reviewed on October 7, 2026: the City’s list of certified candidates for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (an Internet Archive copy) and its open data file of nominations, the public description of his Facebook page, the CTV News Ottawa list of school board candidates of September 9, 2026, and the board’s page on supervision.
Gaps. His Facebook posts need a login and were not read, and the page description is cut off, so his priorities and background are unknown. An empty section records only that nothing was found, and he may well have statements that voche.me has not seen. The voche.me questionnaire has not been sent.
