Ottawa-Carleton District School Board
One trustee is elected in each of the board’s 12 zones. A zone covers one or more City wards. Only English public school supporters vote in this race.
The City of Ottawa’s Ward Boundaries and Council Composition By-law (By-law No. 2021-3), as amended, says the 2026 to 2030 term of Council is made up of the Mayor, elected by general vote, and 24 other members, elected on the basis of one member for each of the 24 wards. Voters in a ward choose one councillor, and the candidate with the most votes wins the seat. 24 of 24 wards have a candidate on City of Ottawa’s list so far.
The count on each district is the number of candidates on the official list. A ward with none has no accepted nomination yet.
