The party's 2024 release called the candidate a retired small business owner. No 2026 campaign website, party candidate page, news report, interview or public statement from the candidate was found on 2026-10-01. The BC Green Party's 2026 candidates page lists 18 candidates and does not name Pat McCutcheon, and the address bcgreens.ca/candidates-2026/pat-mccutcheon/ returned a page-not-found error. A search of the party website for McCutcheon returned only the April 17, 2024 release. The 2024 party page named on the 2024 VoteMate profile, bcgreens2024.ca/your-candidates/pat-mccutcheon, also returned a page-not-found error. A BC Green Party donation page titled "Pat McCutcheon's Campaign" answered, with no text beyond its title and no date, so it is not used. The Cloverdale Reporter's report on the Surrey districts, dated 2026-09-28, does not name a Green candidate in Surrey-Cloverdale. VoteMate's 2026 page for the district did not list Pat McCutcheon on this date. BC Ballot lists Pat McCutcheon as a filed BC Green Party candidate in the district, with no statement or link. The 2024 VoteMate profile names a Facebook page, an Instagram account and an X account. Those sites need a sign-in to read, so nothing from them is used. A public Bluesky account with the display name Pat McCutcheon describes a Cloverdale resident. voche.me found no post on it that ties the account to the 2026 candidacy, so nothing from it is used. The 2024 material belongs to a Green candidate with the same name in the same district. The federal by-election entry rests on the same name, the Green Party, Cloverdale, and a biography sentence that matches the 2024 provincial answers word for word. voche.me found no 2026 page that states the 2026 candidate is the same person. The 2024 Cloverdale Reporter pages were read as Internet Archive copies, because their original addresses now open the paper's home page. The work history in the 2024 answers and the party's 2024 release has not been checked with any other body. voche.me did not search the results of the 2025 federal general election. The photographs found are from 2024, and voche.me found no 2026 photo published by the candidate or the party, so the page has no portrait. The organizers of the October 15 forum have not published who will attend. Campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. Nominations close October 3, 2026, so other candidates may still be added. The questionnaire has not been sent.
