01 / Introduction
About Keenan Adams
Elections BC lists Keenan Adams as the Conservative Party of BC candidate in Port Coquitlam. The Western Standard reports that the party's official account named him as its Port Coquitlam candidate on September 26, 2026. Mike Farnworth of the BC NDP, the district's sitting MLA, is also on the list.
He ran in Port Coquitlam in the 2024 election. The Tri-City News reported in September 2024 that he was first the BC United candidate and moved to the BC Conservatives after BC United leader Kevin Falcon suspended that party's campaign. Elections BC's statement of votes shows he received 9,967 votes (38.79 percent). Mike Farnworth won with 13,843 votes (53.87 percent).
The 2024 and 2026 candidacies are tied to one person by two sources. Peter Milobar's 2026 party leadership website listed Keenan Adams as the "Conservative candidate of record for Port Coquitlam", and both the 2024 reporting and the party's 2026 page describe a locomotive engineer who has lived in Port Coquitlam since 2010.
The party says he finished the Railway Conductor program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2010, moved from conductor to locomotive engineer, and now helps train new railway workers. It also says he is Local President of Teamsters Canada Rail Conference Local 320, and that he volunteers with the PoCo Lions Club and the City of Port Coquitlam's Adopt-A-Spot program. voche.me has not checked these roles with the union, the college or the club.

Party names him in Port Coquitlam
Campaign diary that records the party's official account naming him as the Port Coquitlam candidate on September 26, 2026.
Compares the 2024 Port Coquitlam candidates' answers on housing, homelessness, climate change and regulation. It notes he gave no answer on climate change.
Sources checked September 30, 2026. Official records establish decisions; campaign material establishes stated positions; reporting adds investigation and context. None alone establishes every claim.
No campaign website and no 2026 policy statement from him were found on 2026-09-30. His Facebook page (VoteAdams2024) and Instagram account (voteadams2024) show only a sign-in page to direct reads, and the X account @VoteAdams2024 named in 2024 returns HTTP 404, so no post from them is used. His YouTube channel, Adams For BC, holds five videos, all published in October 2024. His own endorsement page on Peter Milobar's leadership site returned HTTP 522 and has no archived copy, so only the shortened text on the archived endorsements list was read. The party's candidate page labels him "Interim Conservative Party Leader". The party's own team page lists him only as the Port Coquitlam candidate, so voche.me does not repeat that label. His role as Local President of Teamsters Canada Rail Conference Local 320, his BCIT program, his railway career and his volunteer work are stated by the party; voche.me has not checked them with the union, BCIT, his employer or the PoCo Lions Club. The Tri-City News article on his 2024 party change was read through an Internet Archive copy, because the live page returns HTTP 403. His 2024 campaign finance report is on the Elections BC site and was not reviewed. All-candidates meetings in Port Coquitlam for 2026 and any endorsements were not found on this date.
