He won the district in 2024 with 8,735 votes, 49.60% of the valid vote, ahead of the sitting BC NDP member Jinny Sims with 8,472, according to the Elections BC statement of votes. These are his own and his party's statements.
In the legislature in 2026 he asked questions about police staffing in Surrey, the Surrey Police Service transition in Cloverdale, extortion crime and the PST on security services. He spoke against the budget and Bill 9 on freedom of information, and spoke on bills about civil forfeiture, supportive housing and access zones near schools and places of worship.
Caucus releases from July 2026 call him Shadow Minister for Solicitor General and Emergency Response. A caucus release of October 1, 2025 named him critic for post-secondary education.

No campaign website was found. bryantepper.ca shows a parked page with no content. His X and Instagram accounts and his Facebook page could not be read without signing in, so no post is used; their profile lines call him a former MLA. The party's candidate page labels him "Interim Conservative Party Leader". News reports name Lorne Doerkson as leader, so voche.me does not repeat that label. His RCMP career, his rank, and his role as treasurer of the Mounted Police Professional Association of Canada come from his own words in the legislature and from party and caucus pages. voche.me has not checked them with the RCMP or the association. The September 2025 release on charge approval was read only as quoted by the Surrey Now-Leader. A Peace Arch News report on the same call did not load. An Indo-Canadian Voice report from March 2025 says the BC NDP said he shared other political content online; voche.me did not find that claim in the official record and left it out. A March 2026 reader letter in the Surrey Now-Leader is opinion and is not used. Votes are taken from the 2026 vote index; the transcripts of those votes were not opened. His 2025 speeches were read only through the 2025 index, except for March 5, 2025. No all-candidates meeting in Surrey-Panorama was found on this date. The Conservative platform page says the platform is coming and does not name him. No commitment on climate was found. Campaign finances and endorsements were not reviewed. The questionnaire has not been sent.
