Reporting
CFJC Today Kamloops
Kamloops-area candidates announced for 2026 provincial election
CFJC Today Kamloops listed the people who had filed nomination papers for MLA seats in the Kamloops area, and named Annelise Beach with the BC Greens in Kamloops Centre, alongside Rocky McAfee of OneBC, Peter Milobar of the BC Conservatives and Mike Wisla of the BC NDP. The report gives no detail about her background or positions.
Sources checked October 3, 2026. Official records establish decisions; campaign material establishes stated positions; reporting adds investigation and context. None alone establishes every claim.
No campaign website, party candidate page, social media account tied to this candidacy, interview or public statement from this candidate was found on 2026-10-03, so her background, her positions on every scored issue and her reasons for running are unknown. The BC Green Party's 2026 candidates page listed 33 candidates and none was for Kamloops Centre. Its Kamloops riding association page does not name her. The general web search tool was at its usage limit, so the name search used Google News, the BC Green Party site, the CFJC Today Kamloops site and ArmchairMayor.ca. Castanet Kamloops refused the request (HTTP 403), and InfoNews and Kamloops This Week returned no result. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn were not opened, so nothing from them is used. No page voche.me read ties any other person or public record that shares her name to this candidate, so none is used. No portrait was found that the candidate or the party published. All-candidates meetings, campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. Elections BC says it is still reviewing the nominations it received, so the list may change. The questionnaire has not been sent.
Research status
What voche.me has checked
Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-03: the Elections BC candidate list (copy stamped October 3, 2026 07:00:07 PM), the Elections BC key dates page, the 2024 statement of votes, a CFJC Today Kamloops report of October 3, 2026, the BC Green Party's 2026 candidates page, its Kamloops riding association page and its Our Plan page. The BC Green Party's own search and page listing were queried for the name and for Kamloops Centre.
The name search was limited: the general web search tool had reached its usage limit, so the name was searched through Google News, the BC Green Party site, the CFJC Today Kamloops site and ArmchairMayor.ca. Castanet Kamloops refused the request (HTTP 403), InfoNews and Kamloops This Week returned no result for the name, and Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn were not opened. No campaign website, party candidate page, readable social media post, interview or statement from this candidate was found. The party entries below are the BC Green Party's own text, and none of it names Annelise Beach. An empty section records what voche.me did not find on this date.
