Ottawa Police say writing tickets is now the main tool to slow drivers after speed cameras were removed
One year after Ontario removed 85 automated speed cameras from Ottawa roads, the police chief told the Police Services Board that average speeds at former camera sites are up and officers must write more tickets to fill the gap.
