The City of Ottawa’s list of certified and acclaimed candidates for the CECCE, last updated September 9, 2026, shows Dan Boudria as the acclaimed candidate in Zone 8 (Ward 19), with a nomination filed on May 5, 2026. The City’s open data file shows him as the only nomination in the zone and shows no withdrawal. The City list gives him a Facebook page and a LinkedIn profile and no website.
The board’s Table politique page lists Daniel Boudria, vice-chair, as the trustee for sector 8, named as Orléans-Sud-Navan, and names seven schools that the sector serves: Collège catholique Mer Bleue, École élémentaire catholique Alain-Fortin, École élémentaire catholique de la Découverte, École élémentaire catholique Notre-Dame-des-Champs, École élémentaire catholique Notre-Place, École élémentaire catholique Marie-Soleil and École secondaire catholique Béatrice-Desloges. The board’s pages write his first name Daniel, and the City, Radio-Canada and ONFR write Dan. The board’s release of November 18, 2025 says the trustees re-elected him vice-chair for a ninth term and describes him as the trustee for Orléans Sud-Navan since 2006. The board’s notice for its public meeting of September 8, 2026 names him as vice-chair.
Radio-Canada reported on August 19, 2022 that eight school board candidates were elected without opposition, and it named Dan Boudria among them. The City’s 2022 results sheet for CECCE Zone 8 holds no votes and carries the line “Acclaimed”, which means nobody ran against the candidate.
ONFR reported on May 14, 2022 on a dress-code check at École secondaire catholique Béatrice-Desloges in Orléans, a school that the board lists in sector 8. Students told ONFR that girls were taken to the principal’s office to have the length of their shorts measured, and students protested outside the school. The board’s preliminary findings, quoted by ONFR, confirmed that a dress-code check took place, said that no student had been asked to bend over, said that a number of students felt degraded and humiliated, and apologised to students and families. ONFR called Dan Boudria a trustee and vice-chair of the board. It reported that Stephen Blais, then seeking re-election as the provincial member for Orléans, wrote on Twitter that Boudria had committed to a full inquiry, and that Boudria wanted to take part in a dialogue to revise the dress code. A post by Boudria dated May 14, 2022, shown in the article, says that students must be treated with dignity and respect and that such a situation should never happen again. The allegations in the article are the students’ accounts of what school staff did.
The board’s news releases quote him on two projects in the Avalon area of Orléans. On the start of construction of a new elementary school in the Avalon area (release of October 11, 2024), he said the project came from the collective work of the school community and answers a growing demand for modern school buildings. On the opening of École élémentaire catholique Marie-Soleil (release of September 17, 2026), he said the school meets a real need in a growing area and lets more Avalon families reach a French Catholic education close to home.
voche.me found no recorded vote by him. The board’s page of public meetings shows the notice and agenda of its next meetings and no minutes of past meetings. voche.me found no 2026 campaign statement from him and no complaint or allegation against him in the sources read.
