Vote Vancouver publishes a decision test it says it applies to every policy: does it improve service, strengthen the long-term future, build public trust, and can residents measure whether it worked.

## Vote Vancouver on taxes and budget

Rather than publishing a tax number, Vote Vancouver publishes a test. It says that a policy that does not meet all four questions will not be prioritised.

The fourth question, whether residents can measure if it worked, is the one that matters most for holding a council to account, because it commits the party to publishing something measurable.

The party describes its approach as fiscally responsible while expanding public services. It does not publish a property tax rate commitment.
