## Vancouver Liberals on taxes and budget

These two commitments sit together because one is a saving and the other is a cost, and the party has published a figure for the saving but not for the hiring.

The 400 staff would work on garbage pickup, road maintenance and parks and recreation facilities. The party has not published what they would cost.

The $800 million figure and the name "Second City Hall" are the party’s own description of the project. We have not checked it against the city capital plan.
