## The aim of Miscellaneous Topics, in the party's words

> TrueBlue Vancouver's approach to misc. topics is organized around the following commitments.

The last section of TrueBlue Vancouver's 2026 platform, which the party titles "Misc. topics", is on pages 46 to 48. It covers free expression, putting Canadians and Vancouverites first, small business, and what the party calls ideological city politics.

TrueBlue would defend lawful speech, peaceful protest and open debate in public and civic spaces, and put existing residents first when the city decides on spending, services and infrastructure. It would cut red tape and protect commercial parking for local businesses, and focus City Hall on core services. The platform closes on page 49 by asking voters to judge the party on these commitments and repeating its slogan, "Take Back Our Vancouver".

Council could act on each of these points. It sets the rules for civic spaces, approves the budget, issues business licences and sets licence and permit fees.
