This is the largest dollar figure any party has attached to a single commitment on this ballot. The platform does not say which five community centres, or over how many years the $400 million would be spent. ABC also asked the province to abolish the elected Park Board during the last term. The mayor has since said he will not try to eliminate the board if re-elected. Does ABC still want to abolish the Park Board? ABC-led council asked the province to change the Vancouver Charter to remove the elected Park Board during the last term.
