Today, Sunday October 11, is the last day to vote at an advance poll in Toronto's 2026 municipal election. Beach Metro Community News reported on October 11 that advance polls are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. across the city.

Advance voting started on October 6 and ran through today, giving eligible voters a six-day window to cast their ballot before Election Day, Monday October 26.

## Where and when to vote today

Advance polls close at 7 p.m. today. To find your assigned polling location, check your Voter Identification Card. The City of Toronto also lists all advance polling locations at toronto.ca/city-government/elections/voter-information/.

Beach Metro Community News reported that voters in Beaches-East York, Scarborough Southwest, and Toronto-Danforth can vote at their assigned advance polling station today, or return on Election Day. The advance polling period ran at locations across all 25 of the city's wards.

## What voters are choosing

The 2026 Toronto municipal election ballot includes the mayor, one councillor for each of the city's 25 wards, and school board trustees for four boards: the Toronto District School Board, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, Conseil scolaire Viamonde, and Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir.

## If you do not vote today

If you miss today's advance polls, the next and final chance to vote is Election Day, Monday October 26, 2026. Polls on October 26 open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., one hour later than the advance polls. You do not need to have voted at an advance poll to vote on Election Day. Bring identification that shows your name and address.

## Any eligible voter in Toronto can vote on October 26 even without having used the advance polls. Voter eligibility information is at toronto.ca/city-government/elections/.
