A certified candidate is one whose nomination the City Clerk has accepted. The list shows the nomination date as July 7, 2026. Ward 10 covers City ward 5 (York South-Weston). The City Clerk’s 2022 results list Daniel Di Giorgio as elected in Ward 10. The Local reports that Di Giorgio is one of three trustees running for city councillor this year, so he is not a candidate for this seat. In his Know Your Vote T.O. answers, which he wrote himself, he says that as an educator he has experience creating environments where students and families feel heard, valued and supported. He says a trustee should, in keeping with Christian principles of responsibility and care, make sure bullying has no place in schools and that those who bully are held accountable, and that he would advocate for staffing levels and class sizes that allow one-to-one or small-group instruction. His Facebook campaign page, linked from his Know Your Vote T.O. page, is titled “Dr. Paul Salvatori for TCDSB Trustee - Ward 10”. voche.me found no page that states his doctorate, his field or his employer, so none is stated here. The City Clerk’s 2018 declaration lists a Ward 10 candidate with the same name, and the 2022 declaration lists none. No source ties the 2018 entry to this candidate, so no earlier result is stated. voche.me read no board minutes, so it cites no vote. [Know Your Vote T.O. · Paul Salvatori, TCDSB Ward 10 ](https://knowyourvote.to/candidates/toronto-catholic-district-school-board-ward-10-paul-salvatori) Research status ## What voche.me has checked Evidence reviewed on October 4, 2026: the City of Toronto’s list of certified candidates, his Know Your Vote T.O. page, his Facebook page, the City Clerk’s 2018 and 2022 declarations of results, The Local’s article of August 24, 2026 on trustee candidates and Wikipedia’s page on the 2026 election. Name, office, ward and nomination date are as the City prints them. Know Your Vote T.O. is a Toronto Public Library project in which candidates write their own answers. The library checks them against its content standards and does not check whether they are true. A result belongs to a candidate only when a named source ties that entry to this person, and a matching name alone is not enough. The City Clerk’s 2018 declaration lists a Ward 10 candidate with the same name, and no source ties it to this candidate, so it is not used. The TCDSB’s trustee pages loaded only a browser check, so no board record was read and no recorded vote is cited. The sitting trustees come from the City Clerk’s 2022 results, The Local and Wikipedia. The Local reports that the province took over the TCDSB in June 2025 and that, while the board is under provincial supervision, the job of Catholic board trustees is limited to denominational matters. Gaps. His LinkedIn profile and his Facebook page gave nothing readable, so his claim to be an educator rests on his own Know Your Vote T.O. answers. No news report that names him was found. No board minutes were read, so no recorded vote is cited. The questionnaire has not been sent.
