A certified candidate is one whose nomination the City Clerk has accepted. The list shows the nomination date as August 12, 2026 and no campaign website. The Local, in a candidate page updated as of September 21, 2026, describes him as the current trustee for Ward 1 of the Toronto Catholic District School Board and says he was Chair of the Board from 1998 to 1999 and again from 2020 to 2021. The board's own Ward 1 page could not be loaded by voche.me. A web search summary of that page describes him as the Ward 1 trustee, first elected to the Metropolitan Separate School Board that preceded the current board, with more than 35 years of service and the same two terms as Chair. voche.me read the summary and not the page, and the two sources give the same chair years. The Local says no platform is available online for this candidate. voche.me found no campaign website, social media account or news report in which he speaks about his council run. The Local also reports his votes on two board motions and a one-vote result in 2022. voche.me did not read the board's minutes or its published election results, so it does not repeat those. Read the sources 02 / The issues ## Priorities & positions Campaign-source summary Summarized from the campaign’s published profile. These are stated positions, not an assessment of results or a complete platform. No platform positions have been supplied. Research status ## What voche.me has checked Evidence reviewed on October 4, 2026: the City of Toronto's list of certified candidates, The Local's Ward 1 candidate page updated as of September 21, 2026, and a web search summary of the Toronto Catholic District School Board's Ward 1 page. Name, office, ward and nomination date are as the City prints them. His trustee role and chair terms come from The Local, and the board's page agrees only through the summary. Gaps. The board's own page answered the fetch tool with a browser check, so the page text was not read, and the board's minutes were not opened. No vote of his is cited. The City's list shows no website, and no campaign website, platform or social media account was found, so the priorities and links sections are empty. Empty sections record that nothing was verified. They carry no judgment on what he may have said or done. The questionnaire has not been sent.
