A certified candidate is one whose nomination the City Clerk has accepted. The list shows the nomination date as May 8, 2026 and a campaign website at csv.genevieveoger.com, which voche.me could not open. Ward 4 Ouest covers City wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9. The City of Toronto’s release of August 24, 2026 lists her among the candidates declared elected by acclamation: “Geneviève Oger, Trustee, Conseil scolaire Viamonde Ward 4”. The City Clerk’s Declaration of Acclamation of the same date names her for Ward 4. Acclamation means that no other candidate registered for the seat, so there is no vote for it on October 26. The board’s Membres du Conseil page, read on October 4, 2026, lists her as Membre du Conseil (member of the board) for the Toronto (West) region. Radio-Canada’s article of October 23, 2018 lists Geneviève Oger as elected in Toronto Ouest and says she unseated the outgoing board president, Jean-François L'Heureux, who was seeking a third term. The City Clerk’s 2018 results list her first of 2 candidates in Ward 4 with 904 votes, marked elected, ahead of L'Heureux with 539. The City Clerk’s 2022 declaration lists her as acclaimed in Ward 4. L’Express reported on November 19, 2022 that the board chose her as president and Benoit Fortin as vice-president for 12 months at its organization meeting of November 18, 2022. voche.me read no board minutes, so it cites no recorded vote. These are stated positions, not an assessment of results or a complete platform. No platform positions have been supplied. [City Clerk · Declaration of Acclamation, 2026 Toronto municipal election, August 24, 2026](https://www.toronto.ca/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/8ed9-2026-Declaration-of-Acclamation.pdf) Research status ## What voche.me has checked Evidence reviewed on October 4, 2026: the City of Toronto’s list of certified candidates, the City’s release of August 24, 2026, the City Clerk’s Declaration of Acclamation of August 24, 2026, the City Clerk’s declarations of results for 2018 and 2022, Radio-Canada’s article of October 23, 2018, the board’s Membres du Conseil page, L’Express of November 19, 2022 and her Know Your Vote T.O. page. Name, office, ward and nomination date are as the City prints them, and the acclamation is stated from the City’s own release and declaration. The City Clerk’s 2018 and 2022 results use Ward 4 as the board numbered it in those years. Radio-Canada’s article names her as elected in Toronto Ouest in 2018, which ties the City’s entries to her. The campaign website she gave the City, csv.genevieveoger.com, returned an error and a page saying the site is unavailable each time voche.me tried it on October 4, 2026, so nothing from it is used. Her Know Your Vote T.O. page links a website, a Facebook page and an X account, marks her “Elected by Acclamation” and shows all four of its questions as “Awaiting submission”. Her Facebook page showed only a name and a job title, and her X page returned an error. No board minutes were opened, so no recorded vote, committee role or chair role from minutes is cited. Gaps. voche.me found no platform statement from her for 2026. The board’s page gives no start date, so none is stated. The questionnaire has not been sent.
