A certified candidate is one whose nomination the City Clerk has accepted. The list shows the nomination date as June 11, 2026 and the campaign website toronto4life.ca. His campaign website, called the Team Phoenix Campaign, describes him as a rideshare driver, entrepreneur, life coach and community advocate. It says he was born and raised in Toronto and has lived in both Scarborough and Etobicoke, and it sets out a 21-point platform for Ward 3. These are the campaign’s own statements, and voche.me has not checked them against another source. The City Clerk’s declaration of results for the November 30, 2023 Ward 20 Scarborough Southwest by-election lists an Anthony Internicola eighteenth among 23 candidates, with 27 votes, which is 0.16 percent of the 16,950 declared. Parthi Kandavel won with 4,641. The Local reports that he placed 18th out of 23 candidates in that by-election, and that is what links the entry to the 2026 candidate. The City’s 2022 results also list an Anthony Internicola in Ward 22 Scarborough-Agincourt. voche.me found no source that ties that entry to this candidate, so it is not described. The Local, in a candidate page updated as of September 21, 2026, says he has run for council five times and that he has unsuccessfully run in provincial and federal elections for the New Blue Party of Ontario and the People’s Party of Canada. voche.me did not check those party and election records, and he has no party on the Toronto ballot. The Local says he describes himself on LinkedIn as an Uber and Lyft driver and life coach. These are stated positions, not an assessment of results or a complete platform. 01 ### Addiction treatment and recovery His platform page lists mental health, trauma, addiction treatment and recovery as its first priority. It says he does not support safe injection hubs as Toronto’s long-term solution, and that he would push for more access to detoxification, residential treatment, counselling and supportive housing. [Toronto 4 Life · Platform ](https://www.toronto4life.ca/platform.html) 02 ### First responders and public safety His platform page says he would support hiring more police officers, firefighters and paramedics where staffing levels and response times show the need, along with modern equipment, training and wellness supports. [Toronto 4 Life · Platform ](https://www.toronto4life.ca/platform.html) 03 ### Housing and homelessness His platform page says homelessness should be met with a pathway that joins housing, mental health support, recovery, life skills, education and employment, and that he would lobby other levels of government for funding. [Toronto 4 Life · Platform ](https://www.toronto4life.ca/platform.html) 04 ### Responsible spending His platform page says he would review City programs for results, look for efficiencies before asking taxpayers for more, and report publicly on spending. [Toronto 4 Life · Platform ](https://www.toronto4life.ca/platform.html) 05 ### Public washrooms and a major-events site His platform page says Toronto should explore expanding public washrooms, and should study whether a large site such as the Woodbine area could hold a permanent stadium or major-event development. [Toronto 4 Life · Platform ](https://www.toronto4life.ca/platform.html) [Toronto 4 Life · 21-point platform](https://www.toronto4life.ca/platform.html) Research status ## What voche.me has checked Evidence reviewed on October 4, 2026: the City of Toronto’s list of certified candidates, the home, Meet our Candidate and Platform pages of his campaign website, the City Clerk’s declarations of results for the 2022 general election and the 2023 Ward 20 by-election, a Beach Metro Community News page of November 15, 2023 that carries his answers as a by-election candidate, The Local’s Ward 3 candidate page and The Green Line’s Ward 3 guide. Name, office, ward and nomination date are as the City prints them. His website statements are written as the campaign’s own account. Gaps. The 2022 and 2023 entries are matched to him by name. The Local reports that he has run five times. voche.me found two of those runs in City documents and did not find records for the others. The New Blue Party of Ontario and People’s Party of Canada candidacies come from The Local and were not checked against Elections Ontario or Elections Canada. His LinkedIn page returned a login block, so nothing from it is used. He holds no public office on the City’s record, so no council record applies. The questionnaire has not been sent.
