His campaign website says his full name is Nagmani Sharma and that Mani is the name on the ballot. The City's list of elected officials for 2022 to 2026 names Glen Gower as Councillor for Ward 6, and CBC News reported that Gower is not seeking re-election, so no sitting member is running in this ward. CBC News describes him as a software engineer and farmer, and reported that at the September 17, 2026 debate he described himself as a farmer and former worker in Ottawa's tech sector.
