The other nomination in the zone is Danny Arrais, dated July 22, 2026. CTV News Ottawa’s guide of September 9, 2026 lists both and marks neither as acclaimed. The City’s page for this board could not be read, so voche.me relies on the open data file and on an Internet Archive copy of the City’s list of nominated candidates, last updated June 29, 2026, which shows no website or social media account for him. The board’s trustee page lists him as Board Trustee for Zone 9, which covers Ward 16 River and Ward 17 Capital. The Zone 9 trustee elected in 2022 was Shelley Lawrence, with 1,562 of 2,823 votes in the City’s official results. The board’s release of May 30, 2023 says Trustee Sister Shelley Lawrence died on May 29, 2023. The board’s release of July 18, 2023 lists nine applicants for the vacancy, including Luketic-Buyers, and the release of August 24, 2023 says the trustees interviewed eight candidates at a special meeting and appointed him to represent Zone 9 until the municipal election of October 2026. The board’s release of August 24, 2023 says he told the trustees that he volunteers as a board member of the ByTown Museum and as chairperson of CISCO, where he provides cultural interpretation services. This is his own description as the board reported it, and voche.me has not checked it. The board’s Board Motions Registry for 2025 to 2026 names Trustee Luketic-Buyers as the mover or seconder of motions at board meetings from September 9, 2025 to June 9, 2026. One example is resolution 107-26 of June 9, 2026, which he seconded, to approve the board’s 2026 to 2027 balanced budget of $850,141,000 in consolidated expenditures. The registry lists no vote counts and no names of trustees who voted for or against, so voche.me cannot say how he voted on any motion. voche.me found no campaign website, social media account or 2026 statement from him. The sources read hold no complaint or allegation about him. Read the sources 02 / The issues ## Priorities & positions Campaign-source summary Summarized from the campaign’s published profile. These are stated positions, not an assessment of results or a complete platform. No platform positions have been supplied. Research status ## What voche.me has checked Evidence reviewed on October 7, 2026: the City’s open data file of nominations and its 2022 official results for the Zone 9 race, an Internet Archive copy of the City’s list of nominated candidates for this board (last updated June 29, 2026), the board’s trustee page, its releases of May 30, July 18 and August 24, 2023 and October 26, 2022, its Board Motions Registry for 2025 to 2026, and the CTV News Ottawa guide of September 9, 2026. Gaps. The City’s page for the Ottawa Catholic School Board could not be read: ottawa.ca returns an empty page to automated requests, and the Internet Archive holds no copy of the certified list. The only archived copy is the City’s list of nominated candidates last updated June 29, 2026. No campaign website, social media account or 2026 statement from him was found, so no priorities are shown. The registry gives no individual votes, and the board posts agendas as shared documents and videos of meetings that voche.me did not watch. The voche.me questionnaire has not been sent. 03 / Background ## Experience & community August 2023 to present ### Trustee, Ottawa Catholic School Board, Zone 9 (appointed) The board’s release of August 24, 2023 says the trustees appointed him to represent Zone 9 until the municipal election of October 2026, after Trustee Sister Shelley Lawrence died.
