The City’s open data file shows no withdrawal. He gave the City a campaign website and a Facebook page. CTV News Ottawa and The Leveller, which calls him a newcomer in Barrhaven, name him. The other candidates in the zone are Brenda Abramson and Daniel Pershick. His campaign website, which uses the title Dr., says he and his wife have lived in Barrhaven for 22 years and raised two children who attended the board’s schools. It says he has more than 10 years as a former educator, teaching business courses at Carleton University, Algonquin College and the University of Ottawa, and a 20-year career in the federal public service in financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, governance, policy and economic analysis. It says he holds a Ph.D., an MBA and the CFA designation. The Stonebridge Community Association’s page lists him as Director of Safety and Security and gives the same degrees, with a Ph.D. in Management from Carleton University, an MBA from Georgetown University and an MA in Political Science from the University of Regina, and says 19 years in three federal departments.
