Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est in Zone 10 · Ottawa 2026
# Isabelle Gervais
Candidate for trustee of the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est in Zone 10 (Wards 10, 16, 18 and 20), a seat that the board’s page shows as open.
Isabelle Gervais is on the City of Ottawa’s list of certified candidates for trustee of the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE, the French Catholic school board) in Zone 10, which covers City Wards 10, 16, 18 and 20, with a nomination filed on August 4, 2026. The other candidate in the zone is Valérie Chinan Assoi, who filed on May 7, 2026. The board’s Table politique page shows the sector 10 seat as open, so no sitting trustee is in this race. The City list gives her a Facebook page and a LinkedIn profile and no website, and voche.me found no public statement from her.

01 / Introduction
## About Isabelle Gervais
The City of Ottawa’s list of certified candidates for the CECCE, last updated September 9, 2026, shows Isabelle Gervais in Zone 10 (Wards 10, 16, 18 and 20) with a nomination filed on August 4, 2026. The City’s open data file shows no withdrawal. It shows no other nomination under her surname. The other nomination in the zone is Valérie Chinan Assoi, filed on May 7, 2026.
The board’s Table politique page lists sector 10, named as Gloucester-Southgate, Alta Vista, Rivière et Osgoode, with the words “Poste à pourvoir” (a position to fill) in place of a trustee’s name, and names eight schools that the sector serves: Collège catholique Franco-Cité, École élémentaire catholique George-Étienne-Cartier, École élémentaire catholique Marius-Barbeau, École élémentaire catholique Sainte-Bernadette, École élémentaire catholique Sainte-Geneviève, École élémentaire catholique Saint-Guillaume, École élémentaire catholique Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila and École secondaire catholique Pierre-Savard. voche.me found no source that says why the seat is open, so no sitting trustee is known for this zone. The board’s notice for its public meeting of September 8, 2026 lists ten trustees, and the Table politique page gives each of them another sector.
The City’s 2022 results sheet for CECCE Zone 10 shows a contested race between Monique Briand, who received 2,943 votes, and Léo Cardinal, who received 975, out of 3,918 votes counted for candidates (Briand 75.1 percent). Neither name is on the City’s 2026 list for this zone.
VoteMate lists Isabelle Gervais with no profile. voche.me found no 2026 campaign statement, no news report that quotes her and no public role on record for her in the sources read.

## What voche.me has checked
Evidence reviewed on October 7, 2026: the City’s list of certified candidates for the CECCE (an Internet Archive copy of the page last updated September 9, 2026), the City’s open data file of nominations, the City’s 2022 official results for CECCE Zone 10, the board’s Table politique page and its page of public meetings with the notice of September 8, 2026, and the VoteMate listing, which holds no profile text. CTV News Ottawa’s guide to school board candidates, published September 9, 2026 and updated October 5, 2026, was also read; it lists the candidate by name under the CECCE and quotes nothing.
Gaps. Her Facebook page and LinkedIn profile, both given to the City, were not read: the Facebook address only redirects and shows no content, and LinkedIn refused the request. LinkedIn also gives no way to confirm from outside that the profile belongs to this candidate. The general web search tool refused because the session’s search allowance was used up. A campaign page or a post that only a general search would find may exist. Her occupation, background and reasons for running are unknown to voche.me. The voche.me questionnaire has not been sent.
